2. General information on data processing

Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process personal data exclusively within the framework of applicable law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.

3. Hosting and server-side access logging

This website is hosted on a server managed by us at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. As part of hosting, the data required for the technical operation of the website is processed. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the pages accessed, browser information, operating system and the referrer URL.

The web server stores this access data in log files in order to ensure secure operation, stability, error analysis and technical optimisation of the website. We also evaluate the access data for simple access statistics, without cookies and without user profiles. We receive these statistics by e-mail and as a message via the Telegram service. No IP addresses are transmitted, only the approximate location, the name of the network provider, the type of device and the pages visited.

Processing serves the purpose of providing the website securely, stably and free of technical errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website as well as in the technical analysis and optimisation of our web offering.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. It ensures that personal data is processed exclusively in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

4. Contacting us by form or email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide exclusively in order to handle your enquiry and for the related communication.

The following data is processed in the contact form:

Required fields are marked in the form. Without this information your enquiry cannot be sent or processed.

After sending, you automatically receive a confirmation of receipt at the email address you provided. For security reasons it does not contain the content of your message.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at entering into or performing a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the proper handling of enquiries and in communicating with prospects, customers and business partners.

5. Technical handling of the contact form

The contact form is processed on our server. We send the message and the confirmation of receipt through our email mailbox hosted on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland), where incoming messages are also stored. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft. If sending through Microsoft is temporarily not possible, it is done instead through the service provider Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). The data you enter in the form is then transmitted to Brevo to the extent necessary for sending. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is also in place with Brevo.

To protect against automated enquiries (spam) we use technical measures. These include a field that is not visible to you, a check of how long the form took to complete, and a limit on the number of enquiries within a short period. For this limit we briefly store a non-reversible short value (hash) of your IP address and your email address. No analysis of your usage behaviour takes place. No data is passed on to third parties for these protective measures themselves.

6. Recipients of the data

Your personal data is only passed on if this is permitted by law or if you have consented. Recipients may in particular be technical service providers engaged for hosting, maintenance or the technical operation of this website.

7. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as long as statutory retention obligations exist.

Data from enquiries is deleted once the respective matter has been concluded and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

8. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

9. Right to object

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

10. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and stores nothing on your device. A cookie notice is therefore not required.

11. External content and services

This website currently does not embed any external content or services. It contains only links to external offerings, such as our LinkedIn profile. Data is transmitted to the respective provider only once you actively click such a link; the respective provider is responsible for the processing that takes place there.
